From Cracoe to Armathawaite covering 85.4 mi

Kilnsey Crag is a 170 ' limestone formation.

Around Kilnsey there are many fishing spots and these are anglers cottages.

Fountains Abbey was started in 1132 and is one of the best preserved ruins in Britain.

Buckden Tower and St. Mary's in Buckden. was once part of a castle.

The Aysgarth Falls reminds me of some falls that I have seen in Michigan.

Going through Bainbridge. Located in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Appersett viaduct is 80' high and 108' long. It was built in 1873.

Hellgill Force waterfall of 30' on River Eden near Aisgill.

In Ravenstonedale I found St. Oswald Church still active and dating from 1738.

The hills provide a good view of the countryside.

Tebay on the River Lune in the county of Cumbria.

I continue to be impressed with the cities and villages along the way. Shap is in the county of Westmorland has a population over 1300.  In this town you will find three pubs, a small supermarket, a fish and chip shop, an antique book shop, a primary school, a shoe shop, three Bed & Breakfasts, an anglican church.  I will be well set here.
