Kilnsey Crag is a 170 ' limestone formation.

Around Kilnsey there are many fishing spots and these are anglers cottages.

Fountains Abbey was started in 1132 and is one of the best preserved ruins in Britain.

The Aysgarth Falls reminds me of some falls that I have seen in Michigan.

I continue to be impressed with the cities and villages along the way. Shap is in the county of Westmorland has a population over 1300.  In this town you will find three pubs, a small supermarket, a fish and chip shop, an antique book shop, a primary school, a shoe shop, three Bed & Breakfasts, an anglican church.  I will be well set here.

Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa in the lake district.. What a beautiful area.
