My next tour: West yellowstone to Minneapolis

Just as I was finishing the Route 66 Virtual Tour I  received information by a virtual tour they were sponsoring.  During my first virtual tour I could see how I was motivated to cycle longer and more frequently. The weather is nice and I will explore another area that I have not ridden, so here I go again.

The live cam at the west entrance of Yellowstone.

I well be heading across to the east entrance, so I will only see part of the park. I really want to go to this park.

The first stop in Yellowstone is the Gibbon Falls. 84' high. A very nice look.

Norris Geyser Basin is the oldest and hottest of the park's thermal areas. 459 degrees F. Steamboat Geyser is the tallest at 300-400' high. The area has been active an estimated 115,000 years.

Lower Falls of Yellowstone River- Total high 308' . Dramatic, impressive.
