How naive I was.  I thought the idea of such a promotion to draw attention to Route 66 was developed during my lifetime.   Most ideas have been around for a while.

The look in this area is different with the green of the pine.  The air feels great.

Bellemont claims to be the highest settlement on Route 66 at 7132'.  You will find a Harley dealership and RV business, which is good to know when you are on the road.  The Adventure Cycling Association maps will identify the bike shops and places to find WIFI.  adventurecycling.org 

This is the Pine Breeze Motel which was used in the 1969 movie "Easy Rider".

The pandemic has postponed the classic auto displays through the summer of 2020. Downtown Williams during some other summer.
