I have heard this before and I know you have too, buy it is important to try it.
For over a year it has been hard to walk up hills and steps. it is also hard to bike up long, steep hills.
On my ride my objective was to get to the top without doing any wheezing. Adjust the gears, cadence, and respiration. I did it!
On a walk up a long hill carrying 30 pounds. Walk a steady pace without a break. Keep relaxed with the respiration. Breathe deeply. Long steady exhale through pierced lips. Focus on breathing and not the steps. Say to yourself keep going, you can make it. I made it to the top and took my break. My respiration returned to normal quickly.
I am glad that I tried these challenges. I lifted my confidence. I can try another challenge.
