I chose this tent because of the rain fly. It creates vestibule space on both sides. I have enough room to have my panniers in the tent for packing and keeping dry. I also picked up the footprint. I am please with how it worked on this "shake down" trip.

It uses aluminum poles and comes with 8 stakes. I added 4 to help stretch out the rain fly. It is about a 4 pound tent.
