Glenrio, texas and New mexico: into another state!

I pedaled toward New Mexico and before I entered there was Glenrio, Texas.  This town was another started by the railroad.  The area was settled on plats of 160 acres.  This was an area that received the cattle from  the range.  The farmers could grow wheat and sorghum.

So happy to get back on the dirt road for awhile.
