The red signs are Burma Shave signs. Do you know about those?

These signs were found along many US highways.  They were started in 1926 and used until  1963.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burma-Shave.  They were a favorite of the passengers and helped pass the time looking for the next Burma phrase.  Shave the modern way / No brush / No lather / No rub-in / Big tube 35 cents – Drug stores / Burma-Shave  .  Now we just use use cream from the aerosol can. Those with safety concerns felt that the signs distracted the drivers away from the road.  

I love the classic Coca-Cola signs, the real ones not the ones I see in stores.

I think that this is a valid warning. Always better to be overly prepared. I was a Scout "Be Prepared"
